Luxe Paradise Wedding Launch Port Douglas

We were lucky enough to be invited to design Luxe Paradise - launching 2 Fish Restaurant, Port Douglas as a brand new, stylish, food lovers, destination wedding venue in tropical Far North Queensland.

We created every detail, from original design concept design to setup on the day. We wanted to create a chic and elegant affair, taking our cue from a sophisticated, resort like setting, industrial inspired interior and vibrant 7 meter, commissioned mural art work, featured within the space.

Using a pure white palette with fresh green and chantilly accents, we created luscious floral arrangements, displayed on raised wooden platforms with stainless steel legs, using an array of exotic phaelanopsis orchids, native jasmine, seasonal blooms, foliage and fruits. A mass of mood lighting featured, using a combination of concrete and white porcelain votives, statement chrome and glass lanterns featured with ethereal coral and calligraphy name tags with taupe leather string as finishing touches, supplied by The Distillery.

Guests enjoyed a lavish spread of award winning seafood and dessert grazing table, created by the talented 2 Fish Chefs, not to mention the delicious cocktails that kept flowing throughout the night, evoking a tropical paradise. Passion for Cakes provided a beautiful wedding cake that tasted as good as it looked and that we at A Love Affair decorated with fresh floral detail to compliment.

The special guests were selected as VIP wedding industry specialists and were all gushing with amazing compliments, saying what a wonderful space it was and that they enjoyed the beautiful setting helped created by us!

We would like to thank Sass Studios, Wedding Lounge Port Douglas, Hortulus and Pebble for supporting us and contributing to the night's success....

Here are some snaps of the night... X
